Taoro is not born from an idea; it is born from a collision. In the northern slopes of Tenerife, basaltic soil doesn't invite growth—it demands it. The roots in the La Orotava Valley pierce through rock to extract a mineral character that the industry often camouflages. Our intervention is minimal: a seismographic roast that respects the hardness of the terrain and transforms it into density.
Three states of matter.
We have categorized the project into three physical profiles that summarize the northern ecosystem: Basalt, Ash, and Magma. We replace the traditional flavor wheel with a hierarchy of soils. If a descriptor doesn’t explain altitude or mineral composition, it is noise. We seek structure, not ornaments.
